Back in the 80’s Fred Scott developed a great tasting meal, which he prepared for his fish.In his restaurant Scotty’s which was located on 76th and Cedar in Cleveland Ohio. Customers would wait in long lines for hours just to get a taste Scotty’s delicious fish dinners. The signature season gave his fish dinner a taste unlike any fish dinner in Cleveland. Season crispy outside, moist juicy inside. So many guests would come into Scotty's restaurant from athletes to politician to neighborhood locals. This earned Scotty the name Mayor of Cedar.
In the 90’s Scotty asked his nephew Terry Scott from Buffalo New York to come to Cleveland and help out with the operations of the restaurant. Terry teamed up with Scotty creating a proficient operation. Due to Scotty's surprise Terry brought management experience and drive to the restaurant. He made the kitchen run more effeciently. In return Scotty shared his secret meal recipe with his nephew hoping one day he would return to Buffalo New York to open another chain of Scotty's restaurants.
In the Mid 90”s Scotty was murderd in a domestic altercation. Scotty's restaurants was closed shortly after the building was a victim of arson. Distraught by the series of events the nephew Terry Scott swore he would never cook another piece of fish or have any involvement with the Scotty’s secret meal. The secret meal would vanish until NOW……………….
